Reflection 1: ISTE Technology Standards
ISTE Technology Standards discuss how an ideal educator of the 21st Century learners deal with the learners and the same time with their daily lessons. It gives guide on how to have an effective and complete process of learning with the aid of the technologies that are available nowadays. This Standards were set to give a broad way on how to incorporate technology with in learning. However, it also gives a means of greater opportunity for all the learners to maximize their full potential specially in terms of manipulating the way their earning comes on their way.
After I read, I feel like I'm in a strange area wherein I keep looking myself where am I in this standards. This is my first time to encounter such standards regarding technology in education. I see and read a lot of standards in education but not in terms of technology immersion. From that, I see from me that learning and knowing this standards are very necessary for me I want to be successful in my chosen career which is education, especially from now that not only the teacher is the source of way learners grasp knowledge. Dealing also with these standards let me think about, what will happen to the next generation in terms of classroom environment.
I see that in my career, from what I've been used to on the way I instruct in our country will change. Change in terms of improving myself and attaching myself to technology as a tool of educating. Which makes me decide to do and exert my full effort in accomplishing my goal here. To be successful IT specialist in incorporating technology as means of education and to facilitate learning.
